I went on a trip to Ireland in March. I went to Ross Beigh on the Ring of Kerry and found this pink float. It says Flotadores Hercules on one side and made in Spain and La Coruna on the other. They are made in the La Coruna fishing area. The company started making plastic floats in 1964 and they are still made .They are exported to Europe, USA, Canada, Caribbean, and South America. There is no date and no way to find out where it came from. They are for trawler fishing.

I found one this morning whilst in the beach with my dogs. Planning on painting it and using as a giant Christmas bauble!

I didn’t know they made these Hercules Lighthouse floats in plastic. I have found four of the metal ones in three different sizes.
